कांग्रेस ने महंगाई के खिलाफ देशभर में हल्लाबोल जारी है. दिल्ली पुलिस ने कांग्रेस नेता राहुल गांधी को हिरासत में ले लिया है. कांग्रेस के कई सांसद विजय चौक पर धरने पर बैठ गए हैं. दरअसल, राहुल गांधी कांग्रेस सांसदों के साथ संसद भवन से राष्ट्रपति भवन तक मार्च निकाल रहे थे. लेकिन पुलिस ने उन्हें विजय चौक पर ही रोक दिया और राहुल गांधी समेत कई नेताओं को हिरासत में लिया गया है.
पुलिस ने कांग्रेस को इस मार्च की अनुमति नहीं दी थी. इस इलाके में धारा 144 लागू है. उधर, कांग्रेस दफ्तर से मार्च निकाल रहीं प्रियंका गांधी को भी हिरासत में ले लिया गया. इस दौरान राहुल गांधी ने कहा, सभी सांसद महंगाई के मुद्दे को उठाने के लिए राष्ट्रपति भवन जा रहे थे. लेकिन हमें आगे नहीं जाने दिया जा रहा है. हमारा काम जनता के मुद्दों को उठाने का है. कुछ सांसदों को हिरासत में लिया गया है.
कुछ के साथ मारपीट भी हुई. कांग्रेस नेता राजीव शुक्ला ने कहा, हम राष्ट्रपति भवन तक मार्च निकालने की कोशिश कर रहे हैं. लेकिन पुलिस ने हमें रोक दिया. पुलिस का कहना है कि इस इलाके में धारा 144 लागू है. यहां विरोध प्रदर्शन की अनुमति नहीं है. कांग्रेस सांसदों ने खुद को गिरफ्तार करने की मांग की है.
वहीं, कांग्रेस नेता पी चिदंबरम ने कहा, यह विरध महंगाई और अग्निपथ को लेकर है. महंगाई ने सभी पर असर डाला है. राजनीतिक पार्टी होने के नाते हमारा कर्तव्य है कि लोगों की आवाज को उठाएं. इसलिए हम प्रदर्शन कर रहे हैं.
