ऑपरेशन कावेरी: सूडान से 231 भारतीयों का जत्था मुंबई पहुंचा
नयी दिल्ली। हिसाग्रस्त सूडान से अपने नागरिकों को वापस लाने के भारत के अभियान ‘ऑपरेशन कावेरी’ के तहत बुधवार को 231 यात्रियों का एक और जत्था स्वदेश लौट आया।
विदेश मंत्रालय के प्रवक्ता अरिदम बागची ने ट्वीट कर बताया, ”ऑपरेशन कावेरी के तहत एक और विमान नागरिकों को लेकर स्वदेश लौटा। 231 यात्रियों को लेकर विमान मुम्बई में उतरा।’’भारत ने हिसा से प्रभावित सूडान से अपने नागरिकों को निकालने के लिए पिछले सप्ताह ‘ऑपरेशन कावेरी’ शुरू किया था।
ज्ञात हो कि ‘ऑपरेशन कावेरी’ के तहत मंगलवार को 559 नागरिकों को स्वदेश लाया गया। इनमें से 231 भारतीय अहमदाबाद पहुंचे जबकि 328 नागरिकों का एक और जत्था नयी दिल्ली पहुंचा।
सोमवार को इस अभियान के तहत 186 भारतीय कोच्चि पहुंचे थे जबकि रविवार को 229 भारतीय बेंगलूरू पहुंचे थे । इसके एक दिन पहले 365 भारतीय नागरिक दिल्ली आए। वहीं, इस निकासी अभियान के तहत शुक्रवार को दो जत्थों में 754 नागरिक भारत लौटे थे।’ऑपरेशन कावेरी’ के तहत भारत ने जेद्दा में पारगमन सुविधा स्थापित की है। सूडान से निकाले जाने के बाद भारतीय नागरिकों को सऊदी अरब के इस शहर में लाया जा रहा है।
भारत ने सऊदी अरब के शहर जेद्दा में नियंत्रण कक्ष स्थापित किया है ताकि सूडान से भारतीय नागरिकों को निकालने में सुविधा हो सके।सूडान में करीब 3,000 भारतीयों को निकालने के लिए अभियान चलाया जा रहा है।सूडान से निकासी अभियान में भारतीय नौसेना के जहाज आईएनएस सुमेधा, आईएनएस तेग और आईएनएस तरकश शामिल हैं। इसके अलावा भारतीय वायु सेना का विमान भी इसमें शामिल है।
इस अभियान के तहत पोर्ट सूडान और जेद्दा में जरूरी आधारभूत ढांचा तैयार किया गया है।सूडान में सेना और एक अर्द्धसैनिक समूह के बीच सत्ता हासिल करने के लिए भीषण संघर्ष जारी है।वहीं, विदेश मंत्रालय ने मंगलवार को बताया था कि सूडान में सुरक्षा की वर्तमान स्थिति को देखते हुए भारत ने अपने दूतावास को खार्तूम से पोर्ट सूडान स्थानांतरित करने का फैसला किया है।
ज्ञात हो कि पोर्ट सूडान पूर्वी सूडान में लाल सागर के पास स्थित शहर है। खार्तूम से पोर्ट सूडान की दूरी 850 किलोमीटर है।
