ऑल्ट न्यूज के सह संस्थापक मोहम्मद जुबैर को सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने बड़ी राहत दी है। कोर्ट ने जुबैर को पांच दिन के लिए अंतरिम जमानत दे दी है। कोर्ट ने जुबैर को जमानत देने के साथ ही यूपी पुलिस को नोटिस देकर जवाब मांगा है।

कोर्ट ने जमानत के साथ जुबैर के सामने रखी ये शर्त
सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने जुबैर को पांच दिनों के लिए अंतरिम जमानत इस शर्त पर दी कि वह मामले से संबंधित मुद्दे पर कोई नया ट्वीट पोस्ट नहीं करेंगे। इसके साथ ही सीतापुर मजिस्ट्रेट की अदालत के अधिकार क्षेत्र से बाहर नहीं जाएंगे। आपको बता दें, जुबैर को यूपी की सीतापुर पुलिस ने उनके खिलाफ दर्ज केस को लेकर गिरफ्तार किया था।
इससे पहले मोहम्मद जुबैर ने अपनी जान को खतरा बताते हुए एक दिन पहले यानी गुरुवार को सुप्रीम कोर्ट का दरवाजा खटखटाया था। याचिका में जुबैर ने धार्मिक भावनाओं को आहत करने के मामले में उत्तर प्रदेश पुलिस की ओर से उनके खिलाफ दर्ज FIR को रद्द करने की मांग की है। इलाहाबाद हाई कोर्ट ने 13 जून को जुबैर की एक रिट याचिका खारिज कर दी थी।

जुबैर की ओर से सीनियर वकील कॉलिन गोंजाल्विस ने कहा कि यूपी पुलिस की ओर से उनके मुवक्किल के खिलाफ दर्ज FIR से पता चलता है कि उन्होंने कोई अपराध नहीं किया है।

गोंजाल्विस ने कहा कि उनका काम समाचारों को सत्यापित करना है, और वह नफरत फैलाने वाले भाषणों की तथ्य-जांच करने की भूमिका निभा रहे थे। हम इलाहाबाद हाईकोर्ट गए, लेकिन कोई राहत नहीं मिली।
