‘वीवो’ को देनी होगी 950 करोड़ की बैंक गारंटी, दिल्ली हाईकोर्ट ने दी बैंक खातों से लेनदेन की अनुमति
नयी दिल्ली, 13 जुलाई (एजेंसी)दिल्ली हाईकोर्ट ने चीन की स्मार्टफोन कंपनी वीवो को अपने विभिन्न बैंक खातों से लेनदेन की अनुमति दे दी है। प्रवर्तन निदेशालय (ईडी) ने मनी लॉन्ड्रिंग रोधक जांच के सिलसिले में इन खातों पर रोक लगाई थी। हालांकि, इसके लिए कंपनी को एक सप्ताह के भीतर ईडी को 950 करोड़ रुपये की बैंक गारंटी देनी होगी। जस्टिस यशवंत वर्मा ने कंपनी को ईडी को बाहर भेजे गए धन की जानकारी देने का भी निर्देश दिया है। उन्होंने वीवो के विभिन्न बैंक खातों पर रोक लगाने के आदेश को रद्द करने का अनुरोध करने वाली कंपनी की याचिका पर ईडी को नोटिस भी जारी किया। ईडी का कहना है कि अपराध के जरिये अनुमानित कमाई करीब 1,200 करोड़ रुपये है। अदालत ने कंपनी से बैंक खातों में 251 करोड़ रुपये की राशि बनाए रखने को भी कहा है, जो खातों पर रोक लगाए जाने के दौरान थी। उसने कहा कि इस राशि का अगले आदेश तक इस्तेमाल नहीं किया जाए। हाईकोर्ट ने ईडी को याचिका पर अपना जवाब दाखिल करने के लिए एक सप्ताह का समय देते हुए मामले की अगली सुनवाई के लिए 28 जुलाई को तय की है। वीवो ने खातों पर रोक हटाने के अलावा कुछ देनदारी के निपटान के लिए बैंक खातों से लेनदेन की इजाजत भी मांगी थी। ईडी ने 5 जुलाई को वीवो और उससे जुड़ी कंपनियों के खिलाफ मनी लॉन्ड्रिंग की जांच में देशभर में कई स्थानों पर छापे मारे थे। ये छापे दिल्ली, उत्तर प्रदेश, मेघालय और महाराष्ट्र समेत विभिन्न राज्यों में मनी लॉन्ड्रिंग रोधक कानून (पीएमएलए) के तहत मारे गए थे।
