जम्मे। जम्मू-कश्मीर के राजौरी जिले में शुक्रवार को सुरक्षा बलों और आतंकवादियों के बीच हुई मुठभेड़ में दो जवान शहीद हो गये और एक अधिकारी सहित चार जवान जख्मी हुए हैं।
सेना के अधिकारी ने एक बयान में कहा कि जम्मू क्षेत्र में भाटा धूरियन के तोता गली इलाके में सेना के एक ट्रक पर घात लगाकर हमला करने में शामिल आतंकवादियों के एक समूह को खदेड़ने के लिए सेना की टुकड़ी लगातार खुफिया जानकारी के आधार पर अभियान चला रही है।उन्होंने कहा,”राजौरी सेक्टर के कंडी जंगल में आतंकवादियों की मौजूदगी के बारे में मिली खुफिया जानकारी के आधार पर तीन मई को एक संयुक्त अभियान शुरू किया गया था और आज सुबह लगभग साढèे सात बजे, खोजी दल ने एक तहखाने में घुसे आतंकवादियों के समूह पर हमला किया।’’
सेना के अधिकारी ने कहा कि खड़ी चSानों वाले इस इलाके में जंगल बहुत सघन है। उन्होंने कहा, ” यह क्षेत्र चSानी और खड़ी चSानों से घिरा हुआ है। जब सुरक्षाबल वहां पहुंचे तो आतंकवादियों ने जवाबी कार्रवाई में विस्फोट किया। इसमें दो जवान शहीद हो गए, जबकि एक अधिकारी समेत चार जवान घायल हो गए।उन्होंने आगे कहा कि आसपास से अतिरिक्त टीमों को मुठभेड़ स्थल के लिए भेजा गया है।
उन्होंने कहा, ” घायलों को उधमपुर के कमांड अस्पताल ले जाया गया है।’’प्रारंभिक रिपोर्टों के अनुसार, अधिकारी ने कहा कि आतंकवादियों का एक समूह क्षेत्र में फंसा हुआ है और इस मुठभेड के दौरान आतंकवादियों के भी मारे जाने की संभावना व्यक्त की गयी है। अभियान जारी है और हताहतों की स्थितियों के बारे में और जानकारी जुटाई जा रही है।गौरतलब है कि 20 अप्रैल को पुंछ के बटाधुरियन इलाके में सेना के एक ट्रक पर आतंकवादियों ने हमला कर दिया था, जिसमें पांच जवान शहीद हो गए थे।
