कर्ण रोगों से ग्रसित 4120 रोगियों की माइनर सर्जरी

3 मार्च को विश्व कर्ण देखभाल दिवस, 3 से 10 मार्च तक मनाया जाएगा अंतरराष्ट्रीय कर्ण देखभाल सप्ताह
रायपुर. 2 मार्च 2023. प्रदेश में चालू वित्तीय वर्ष 2022-23 में जनवरी माह तक दो लाख 626 लोगों के कान की जांच की गई है। इनमें 14 हजार 483 लोग बधिरता से ग्रसित पाए गए। इस दौरान विभिन्न कर्ण रोगों से जूझ रहे 4120 रोगियों की माइनर सर्जरी तथा 164 की मेजर सर्जरी की गई है। राष्ट्रीय बधिरता रोकथाम एवं नियंत्रण कार्यक्रम के अंतर्गत समाज कल्याण विभाग के सहयोग से 2023 जरूरतमंदों को हियरिंग-ऐड प्रदान किया गया है। वहीं 3255 मरीजों को स्पीच थैरेपी भी दी गई है। प्रदेश के विभिन्न शासकीय अस्पतालों की ओपीडी में आए बच्चों और उनके परिजनों को कर्ण संबंधी समस्याओं से बचाव व उपचार के बारे में जानकारी दी जाती है। वर्तमान में प्रदेश के सभी 28 जिला अस्पतालों, सभी शासकीय मेडिकल कालेजों और एम्स (AIIMS) रायपुर में कर्ण संबंधी इलाज तथा आपरेशन की सुविधा है।
पूरी दुनिया में प्रति वर्ष 3 मार्च को विश्व कर्ण देखभाल दिवस मनाया जाता है। कर्ण रोगों के प्रति लोगों को जागरूक करने 3 मार्च से 10 मार्च तक अंतरराष्ट्रीय कर्ण देखभाल सप्ताह का आयोजन किया जा रहा है। इस वर्ष का आयोजन “ईयर एंड हियरिंग केयर फॉर ऑल! लेट्स मेक इट रियालिटी (Ear and hearing care for all! Let’s make it reality)” की थीम पर आधारित है। इस साल की थीम प्राथमिक स्वास्थ्य संस्थाओं पर केन्द्रित करते हुए निर्धारित की गई है जिससे कान से जुड़ी सभी सेवाएं जनसमुदाय तक पहुंचाई जा सके। विश्व कर्ण देखभाल सप्ताह का उद्देश्य बधिरों के सामाजिक, आर्थिक एवं राजनैतिक अधिकारों के प्रति लोगों में जागरूकता फैलाने के साथ ही लोगों के बीच बधिरों की समस्याओं के बारे में समझ बढ़ाना है।
राष्ट्रीय बधिरता रोकथाम एवं नियंत्रण कार्यक्रम के उप संचालक डॉ. नेतराम नवरतन ने बताया कि देश में हर वर्ष कर्ण संबंधी रोगियों की संख्या में वृद्धि हो रही है। इससे शून्य से 14 वर्ष के बच्चे अत्यधिक प्रभावित हो रहे है। अधिकांश बच्चों में माइल्डर डिग्री (Milder Degree) या यूनिलैटरल (एक कान का) हियरिंग लॉस (Unilateral Hearing Loss) देखा जा रहा है।
लगातार खांसी-जुकाम व कान बहने को अनदेखा न करें
डॉ. नवरतन ने बताया कि लगातार खांसी-जुकाम व कान बहने जैसी समस्याओं को अनदेखा नहीं करना चाहिए। ऐसी स्थिति में चिकित्सक से परामर्श लेना चाहिए। अक्सर मां बच्चे को एक करवट लेटाकर दूध पिलाती है, जिससे उसकी कान की नली में दूध चला जाता है और बहरापन होने की संभावना बढ़ जाती है। मां बैठकर बच्चे को सही तरीके से दूध पिलाए और हमेशा सतर्कता बरते। कान में गंदा पानी जाने से कान में मवाद बनता है। इससे भी कान से जुड़ी समस्याएं पैदा होती हैं। शुगर व टी.बी. रोग से ग्रसित मरीजों को नियमित रूप से अपनी श्रवण क्षमता की जांच करानी चाहिए। बिना चिकित्सकीय सलाह के कोई भी दवा नहीं लेनी चाहिए ।

राष्ट्रीय बधिरता रोकथाम एवं नियंत्रण कार्यक्रम के उप संचालक डॉ. नेतराम नवरतन ने बहरेपन से बचाव के उपाय बताएं हैं जिनके पालन से इससे बचा जा सकता है। कान में नुकीली वस्तुएं नहीं डालना चाहिए। संगीत सुनते समय (विशेष रूप से हेडसेट के माध्यम से संगीत सुनते समय) संगीत की ध्वनि, टीवी देखते समय टीवी की ध्वनि एवं स्टीरियो (त्रिविम ध्वनिक) की ध्वनि के स्तर को कम रखकर सुनें। ज्यादा शोर-शराबा वाले स्थानों से बचें। अपने कान की सफाई कराने के लिए सड़क के किनारे बैठने वाले नीम-हकीमों या अयोग्य व्यक्तियों के पास कभी न जाएं। गंदे पानी में तैराकी या स्नान करने से बचें, क्योंकि यह कान में संक्रमण पैदा कर सकता है। चिकित्सकीय सलाह के बिना अपने कान में किसी भी तरह का तेल एवं तरल पदार्थ न डालें। सुनने की क्षमता में किसी भी तरह की परेशानी महसूस होने पर जितनी जल्दी हो सके चिकित्सक से परामर्श लें।
