पाकिस्तान के हाल बेहाल, बढ़े बिजली के दाम, वर्ल्ड बैंक ने भी 1.1 बिलियन डॉलर का कर्ज टाला
पड़ोसी मुल्क पाकिस्तान (Pakistan) की मुसीबतें कम नहीं हो रही हैं। दक्षिण एशियाई देशों में सबसे जर्जर अर्थव्यवस्था (economy) का तमगा पा चुके इस देश के लोग अनिंत्रित महंगाई (inflation) और रोजमर्रा के वस्तुओं की कमी और उसके रोज बढ़ते दाम से परेशान हो चुके हैं। देश में बिजली और एलपीजी गैस का संकट बढ़ गया है। इस बीच सरकार ने बिजली (Electricity) के दाम बढ़ा दिए हैं।
पाकिस्तान के मशहूर अखबार डॉन के मुताबिक, पाकिस्तान के नेशनल इलेक्ट्रिक पावर रेगुलेटरी अथॉरिटी (नेप्रा) ने कराची शहर में बिजली दरों में लगभग 3.30 रुपये प्रति यूनिट की बढ़ोत्तरी की है। इसके अलावा विभिन्न उपभोक्ता श्रेणियों के लिए बिजली की दरों में 1.49 रुपये से 4.46 रुपये प्रति यूनिट के बीच की गई है।
अखबार के मुताबिक, नए दाम लागू होने से पहले तक उपभोक्ताओं को 43 रूपये प्रति यूनिट की दर से बिजली मिल रही थी। इस पर सरकार से बिजली कंपनियों को 18 रूपये प्रति यूनिट की दर से सब्सिडी भी दी जा रही है।
नकदी संकट से जूझ रहा पाकिस्तान लगातार विश्व बैंक, अंतरराष्ट्रीय मुद्रा कोष और कई देशों के आगे आर्थिक मदद के लिए हाथ पसारता रहा है लेकिन विश्व बैंक ने उसे झटका दिया है। विश्व बैंक ने पाकिस्तान को 1.1 बिलियन डॉलर के लोग को फिलहाल टाल दिया है।
पाकिस्तानी अखबार द एक्सप्रेस ट्रिब्यून के मुताबिक, विश्व बैंक (WB) ने एक बड़ा झटका देते हुए अगले वित्तीय वर्ष तक 1.1 बिलियन डॉलर मूल्य के दो ऋणों की मंजूरी टाल दी है। अखबार के मुताबिक ऋणदाता विश्व बैंक ने पाकिस्तान में आयात पर बाढ़ शुल्क लगाने का भी विरोध किया है, जो पहले से ही महत्वाकांक्षी $32 बिलियन वार्षिक मदद योजना में एक नई रुकावट पैदा कर रहा है।
इस बीच, विदेशों में रह रहे पाकिस्तानियों का स्वदेश धन भेजने का सिलसिला लगातार गिरता जा रहा है। पिछले वर्ष की समान अवधि में 15.80 बिलियन डॉलर की तुलना में मौजूदा वित्त वर्ष 2023 के पहले छह महीनों में यह रकम 11% गिरकर 14.05 बिलियन डॉलर पर आ गया है।
